By using Piko, you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Minimum age
You must be at least 18 years old to use Piko. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
What Piko is
Piko is a platform connecting people looking for services, products, properties, vehicles, rentals and pets with people offering them. We are not intermediaries — we facilitate direct contact between the parties.
The platform is operated by Astral Horizon Labs L.L.C., registered in New Mexico, United States.
User responsibilities
- Provide truthful information in your profile.
- Do not publish unlawful, offensive or misleading content.
- Treat other users respectfully in communications.
- Do not use the platform for spam or fraud.
Provider responsibilities
If you offer services or products on Piko:
- You are responsible for the quality and delivery of your services.
- You must agree on prices and terms directly with the customer.
- Comply with the local laws applicable to your activity.
- Piko is not responsible for disputes between providers and customers.
Limitation of liability
Piko does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of the services listed. Transactions take place between the parties involved.
Prohibited content
The following may not be published:
- Unlawful services or services promoting illegal activities.
- Discriminatory, violent or hateful content.
- False or misleading information.
- Spam, unauthorized advertising or repetitive content.
- Phone numbers or other contact details in listing titles or descriptions. Contact between users takes place exclusively through the channels provided by the platform.
Companion animals
Animal listings are permitted under the following conditions, in accordance with the Animal Welfare and Protection Law No. 7513/2025, which recognizes animals as sentient beings and regulates their protection and sale.
Advertiser responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the listing.
- You warrant that you comply with Law 7513/2025, including animal welfare, proper care and the prohibition of animal abuse.
- If you are a licensed breeder or sales establishment, you must state this in your listing.
- You understand that failure to comply with this law may result in administrative and criminal penalties imposed by the competent authorities.
Specific prohibitions
- Advertising sales conducted on public roads, in squares, at street markets or in unauthorized places.
- Selling animals to minors without authorization from those exercising parental authority or custody.
- Publishing listings suggesting abuse, abandonment or unlawful breeding conditions.
- Making repeated sales that constitute a breeding business without the required authorization.
Private sellers
Listings by private individuals are limited to occasional sales. If you sell animals regularly, your activity may be considered a sales establishment requiring authorization from the National Directorate for Animal Defense, Health and Welfare.
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any listing that does not comply with these conditions or that, in our reasonable judgment, shows signs of animal abuse, clandestine breeding, risk to animal welfare or a possible breach of Law No. 7513/2025, without prior notice.
Intellectual property
The content you publish on Piko (text, photos, descriptions) remains yours. By publishing it, you grant us a license that is non-exclusive, free of charge and revocable to display it on the platform and in Piko promotional materials.
The Piko brand, its logo, design and source code belong to Astral Horizon Labs L.L.C. You may not use our brand or visual identity without prior authorization.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of New Mexico, United States. For users in Paraguay, Paraguayan consumer protection provisions apply where relevant. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of New Mexico, without prejudice to the rights granted to users by local law.
Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. We recommend reviewing them periodically.
